78" Wide X 30" Dia General Vacuum Metallizer
Used 78" wide General Engineering vacuum metallizer. Reported to be able to metalize between 39" to 78". Maximum rewind diameter is 30". Thickness range as follows: 14 to 500 gauge polyester, 200 gauge low density polyethylene, 60 gauge rigid PVC. 15 heater boats with individual control. Boats are intermetallic. 4 CRYO panels. 3 polycool chillers. Speed is approximately 1200 feet per minute. Stokes diffusion pumps. 3 stoke pumps are model 412-133, 15 HP, 412-11 15 HP, 412-11 10 HP. 2 mechanical booster pumps, 7500/5000 CFM. Machine is capable of metallizing on both sides of film. 82" wide cooling drum, approximately 16" diameter. Mt hope bowed roll. Load cells on shafts. Some rolls slip driven (tendency drive). Includes spare stokes pump.
